Transfer of Mojtaba Korkori to Tehran for Execution of Sentence

According to reports, Abbas Mojtaba Korkori has been transferred from Sheiban Prison in Ahvaz to Tehran.

His sister reshared an Instagram story in which it was stated that Mr. Korkori has been transferred for the confirmation of the execution sentence.

On April 7, the Revolutionary Court of Izeh County in Khuzestan Province, Iran, sentenced Abbas Korkori to death on charges of murdering Kian Pirfalak, a child who was shot during the protests on November 16 of the previous year.

Mizan News Agency published this news, stating that the sentence is not final and can be appealed in the Supreme Court.

Previously, Zainab Molaei, the mother of Kian Pirfalak, who was with him in the car at the time of his death, said at his funeral that officers shot at their car and added that the same people took Kian to the Red Crescent building.

In an Instagram story, she posted a photo alongside Mojtaba Korkori’s mother and expressed support for her, stating that her son’s murder was not his doing.
