Trump Administration Approved Billions in Arms Sales to Israel and Saudi Arabia

The Trump administration approved the sale of billions of dollars worth of weapons to Israel and Saudi Arabia.

The administration of Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has approved a series of multi-billion dollar arms deals with Israel and Saudi Arabia amid escalating tensions with Iran.

According to the U.S. State Department, Washington has agreed to sell over $65 billion in weapons to Israel and has simultaneously approved a $9 billion arms deal with Saudi Arabia.

This decision was announced at a time when tensions in the Middle East have increased, U.S. forces have been deployed in waters near Iran, and the possibility of a U.S. military attack on Iran is being considered.

According to the U.S. State Department, about $4 billion of the Israeli arms package is allocated for the purchase of 30 Apache attack helicopters.

The U.S. State Department’s statement emphasized that the country is committed to Israel’s security and considers helping to develop and maintain Israel’s defense capabilities as vital.
