Trump has requested the lifting of sanctions on Iran
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said on the evening of November 6th in a joint meeting with leaders of Central Asian countries at the White House that the Islamic Republic has submitted a request to his administration for the lifting of sanctions.
Donald Trump emphasized that the comprehensive U.S. sanctions have made it difficult for the Islamic Republic to conduct affairs and added that he is open to hearing Tehran’s positions.
The U.S. President said, to be honest, Iran has requested that the sanctions be lifted.
Iran has very heavy sanctions from the United States, and this makes it really difficult for them to do the things they want to do, and I am ready to hear this matter, and we will see what happens, but I will be receptive to it.
Trump, who is scheduled to meet with Syrian President Ahmed Al-Shara on November 10th, recalled that he had previously lifted sanctions on Syria.
