Trump claims the Islamic Republic interfered in the latest round of Gaza negotiations.
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, took a strong stance against the Islamic Republic of Iran during a joint press conference with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Scotland on Monday.
He stated that Tehran had interfered in the latest round of negotiations regarding the Gaza war by sending messages and directives to the Hamas group, affecting the course of the talks.
Trump expressed, ‘In my opinion, Iran interfered in this round of negotiations, signaling and even giving orders to Hamas, and that’s not good at all.’
He also referred to Iran’s nuclear program in a threatening tone, saying, ‘We have previously dismantled their nuclear capabilities.’
‘If they try to start again, we will destroy it faster than anyone can blink, and we will do it openly and with full satisfaction.’
The US President also criticized recent statements by Iran’s Foreign Minister, saying they are sending very bad and offensive signals, and their officials are discussing issues that should not be brought up.
