Trump Heads to Saudi Arabia
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, left Washington a few hours ago and began the first leg of his important trip to the Middle East by traveling to Saudi Arabia.
According to the White House, the special presidential aircraft of the United States is scheduled to land at Riyadh airport tomorrow, Tuesday, and Trump will enter the capital of Saudi Arabia on his first foreign trip since returning to the White House.
This trip, which will continue from May 13th to 16th (May 23rd to 26th in the Iranian calendar), includes meetings in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
Its aim has been stated as strengthening strategic cooperation with the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf.
Al Arabiya media reported that the main topics of discussion during this trip will include regional security, energy, defense, and economic cooperation. This trip takes place at a time when international developments are rapidly changing, and the United States is seeking to redefine its role in the Middle East dynamics.
