Trump: I don’t think Iran is seeking an agreement

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, expressed skepticism on Tuesday, June 9, regarding nuclear negotiations with the Islamic Republic. He said, ‘I don’t think the Iranians are looking for an agreement.’ In an interview with Miranda Devine, a reporter for the New York Post, Trump stated that he still prefers to halt uranium enrichment in Iran through an agreement without the need for military action.

These remarks were made on the eve of the sixth round of negotiations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America.

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that in response to the U.S. proposal for a nuclear agreement, it is preparing a new proposal to be delivered to American officials soon through Oman.
