Trump: I doubt Israel will enter into war with Iran again
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, in an interview with Sky News, said that he doubts Israel will once again enter into war with Iran.
In response to the question of whether the U.S. would support Benjamin Netanyahu if he attacks Iran again, Trump said, ‘I don’t think that will happen. Everything is going very well. Iran is doing what it needs to do.’
According to Sky News, Trump also did not respond to a question about the possibility of Netanyahu ignoring Washington’s demands, and the conversation ended.
These remarks come as the U.S. has recently been working to maintain a fragile ceasefire between Iran and Israel, while indirect negotiations between Tehran and Washington continue.
