Trump entered with an economic plan
Trump’s economic speech to present his plans quickly went off track, yet his campaign managers’ efforts to draft a coherent text for him to present to the audience were somewhat successful.
His important and understandable idea, which was somewhat based on facts and realities, was the promise of tax cuts.
In other areas, he gave vague and general promises, for example, the promise of rapid price reductions that he presented did not align with the reality of the U.S. economy. He even had to mention that the inflation rate in the U.S. had decreased. It was clear that the inability of the plan’s drafters to resist Trump’s strong desire to insult his rivals was serious. Trump’s inefficiency in promising to reduce energy prices was evident, and he, who promised U.S. independence from energy imports and maximum increase in new drilling permits, showed he was completely unaware of the growth in drilling and oil production in America. This speech was a good opportunity to rely on the price increases in the past three years for Trump to bypass the discussion of reducing inflation and remind the audience of the overall three-year situation. He made his efforts, but all his words got lost amid the repeated use of the word ‘crazy’ about Harris. Trump is holding another press conference on Thursday. Experts and reporters have reported that Trump is still angry about the state of his campaign and wants to take control of everything.
The previous press conference was filled with countless lies and fabrications, and this time Trump wants to seize maximum media space and create so many headlines that Harris and Walz disappear among the Trumpian headlines.
