Trump may go to Turkey for Ukraine-Russia talks and lift Syria sanctions as well
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced on Monday, May 11, during a White House press briefing, that he might travel to Turkey on Thursday to participate in potential negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.
Speaking with reporters at the White House before his trip to the Middle East, he emphasized that he is considering making this trip and added that if there is a possibility of developments, the trip might take place.
Trump also responded to a question about Syria sanctions by stating that his administration might lift some of the imposed sanctions to give the country a new opportunity.
