Trump: Negotiations with Iran for reopening the Strait of Hormuz are ongoing until tomorrow

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, claimed that negotiations are underway with Iran aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz by tomorrow.

In a conversation with reporters at the White House, Trump described these negotiations as Iran’s last chance to sign a good agreement and claimed that these talks are being held at Tehran’s request.

He also said that the focus of the negotiations is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing that he will not allow Iran to charge tolls for passage through this waterway.

These statements were made while officials of the Islamic Republic and some Iranian media have denied any negotiations with the United States.
