Trump: No talks with Iran are underway

Donald Trump announced that currently, no negotiations are taking place between Washington and Tehran, and there are no plans to start talks.

The President of the United States wrote on the social network Truth Social that there are no talks or conversations underway with the Islamic Republic of Iran, nor are there any plans for such. The naval blockade is fully in effect and strong. The Strait of Hormuz is open and active. All naval mines have either been cleared or detonated.

Trump also published an image of the Strait of Hormuz, where this waterway is marked with a circle and the phrase ‘New American Territory’ is visible on it.

In response to this stance, Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, wrote on the network X that just as Donald Trump learned to spell the name of the Persian Gulf correctly, we will soon correct his delusion regarding the Strait of Hormuz.

These statements are made in a situation where Tehran had previously announced that no negotiations with the United States are underway.
