Trump Says Iran Has Called for Agreement

Trump claims Iran has reached out for an agreement

The US President claimed that Iran has reached out to Washington for an agreement but did not provide details about this claim.

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced on Monday in front of reporters at the White House that the Iranian side has reached out to achieve an agreement with America.

He said about this, the other side contacted us and they really want to make a deal, and without giving further explanations, added that those who needed to called us this morning.

Trump also mentioned the role of his deputy, J.D. Vance, in recent negotiations with Iran in Pakistan and said that he did a very good job regarding Iran, although these talks ultimately did not lead to an agreement.

According to the US President, the reason for not reaching an agreement was that Iran ultimately did not agree to not have nuclear weapons.

He further emphasized that we cannot allow a country to extort others.

However, officials of the Islamic Republic have so far not made any statements confirming contact with the White House or a willingness to agree.
