Trump suggested that Putin be present in negotiations with Iran.
Trump just finished a phone call with Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia.
The call lasted about an hour and fifteen minutes.
We talked about Ukraine’s attack on Russian planes that were parked on the ground and also about various other attacks carried out by both sides.
It was a good conversation but not one that would lead to immediate peace.
President Putin said in a very decisive tone that he must respond to the recent attack on the airbases.
We also talked about Iran and the fact that the time for Iran to make a decision about nuclear weapons is running out, a decision that must be made quickly.
I told President Putin that Iran should not acquire nuclear weapons, and I think we agreed on this matter.
President Putin suggested participating in the talks with Iran and perhaps could help in reaching a quick outcome.
In my opinion, Iran has been procrastinating on this very important issue, and we will need a decisive response very soon, in a very short time.
