Trump Talks About Gradual Reduction of War with Iran, Deployment of Forces and Continued Clashes Ongoing Simultaneously

Trump talks about the gradual reduction of the war with Iran, while troop deployment and ongoing conflicts continue simultaneously.

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he is considering a gradual reduction of the war with Iran, even as 2,500 more Marines have been deployed to the region and a request for additional funding has been made to Congress.

He has stated that the United States is close to achieving its goals, but he emphasized that he is not seeking to halt the conflicts, a stance that, alongside recent military actions, sends mixed messages from his administration.

Meanwhile, White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt has said that this operation might continue for 4 to 6 weeks and claimed that Iran’s capabilities are weakening.

Nevertheless, the conflicts persist, ranging from attacks around Tehran to exchanges of missiles and drones between the parties.
