Trump: We might have to strike Iran hard again
Donald Trump said he halted a new U.S. attack on Iran at the last moment but Washington might deliver another major military blow to Iran.
The U.S. President said on Tuesday, ‘We were an hour away from the attack, everything was ready.’
He added about negotiations with Iran, ‘They are begging for a deal to be made. I hope we don’t have to go to war, but we might have to hit them hard again.’
Trump also said Iran has only two or three days to enter negotiations for an agreement, emphasizing that the U.S. will not allow Tehran to acquire nuclear weapons.
He said on Monday that he had postponed a planned attack on Iran for a few days at the request of the leaders of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE to give diplomacy a chance.
