Trump: We will take Iran’s enriched uranium
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, once again emphasized that the United States will take possession of Iran’s enriched uranium, as efforts to reach a peace agreement continue.
While leaving an event at the White House, he responded to reporters’ questions by saying, ‘We will take it.’
Trump also stated that Iran wants to negotiate and reach an agreement, claiming that the developments are progressing well.
The President of the United States added that they are dealing with people who really want to make a deal, and we will see if they can offer an agreement that is satisfactory for us or not.
These statements come as reports suggest that Tehran and Washington are nearing an initial understanding to end the war, and Iran has also announced that it is reviewing a new proposal from the United States.
According to assessments by the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran still possesses over 400 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60 percent.
