Tulip Festival in Various Parts of Iran

With the arrival of spring, a colorful tulip festival has been held in some parks and gardens in various cities of Iran.

In the Iranian Garden of Deh Vanak in Tehran, which is part of the Qajar-era Mostofi al-Mamalek Garden, the tulip festival has been held as it is every year in spring.

In Mellat Park and some flower gardens in Mashhad, Arak, Karaj, and several other cities, the tulip festival is also taking place.

Among Middle Eastern countries, tulips have a deep cultural significance in both Iran and Turkey.

The oldest archaeological artifacts featuring tulip designs are bronze and stone seals found in Afghanistan, dating back over 20 centuries before Christ.

Additionally, a cylindrical seal from 2019 centuries before Christ, found in the Elamite civilization of Iran, also features the design of a tulip.
