Turkey opens its passage with Syria for aid delivery

A Turkish official said the country is negotiating to reopen a border crossing into Syrian territory to directly deliver aid to earthquake victims in areas controlled by Bashar al-Assad after a decade of hostility.

Al Jazeera reported that a Turkish aid convoy aimed at helping earthquake victims in the Idlib and Aleppo regions in northwest Syria has set out from Ankara to these areas.
