Two American officers arrested on charges of spying for China

United States officials announced on Thursday that two U.S. Navy officers have been arrested on charges of transferring sensitive national security information to China.

Wenheng Zhao, a 26-year-old petty officer in the U.S. Navy, is accused of providing photos and videos of sensitive military information to China in exchange for $15,000.

Jinchao Wei, a 22-year-old sailor in the U.S. Navy, is also accused of providing U.S. national defense information to China in exchange for thousands of dollars.
