Two Civilians Killed in Israeli Attack on Damascus
Syrian state media report that two civilians were killed in an Israeli attack on the southern outskirts of the capital, Damascus, in the early hours of Tuesday.
Syrian military sources told these media outlets that the attack was carried out at 12:15 AM from the Golan Heights and that most of the missiles were intercepted.
Residents of Damascus said that powerful explosions were heard in the city, and Israeli television reported that the country’s air defense was countering the Israeli aggression.
State television, quoting a military official who was not named, said that the attack on a military post also caused material damage.
