Two Controversial Media Figures Depart from Fox News and CNN

Two controversial media personalities parted ways with Fox News and CNN.

Fox News announced in a brief statement that the network and Tucker Carlson have decided to part ways. The statement noted that Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to end their collaboration. Mr. Carlson’s last program aired on Friday, April 21.

Mr. Carlson hosted his popular show for the last time last Friday. In the final episode, he made no mention of his departure from Fox News and ended by saying, ‘We’ll be back on Monday.’

On the other hand, CNN also announced after 17 years that it has parted ways with its veteran anchor Don Lemon. Lemon, who had worked at CNN for seventeen years, said on air in February that Nikki Haley, a U.S. presidential candidate, is not in her prime and that a woman is in her prime in her 20s, 30s, or 40s.

He later apologized for this remark on Twitter and did not appear on CNN This Morning the next day.
