Two Iranian-born women have joined the Swedish government
Romina Pourmokhtari, 26, has been appointed as the Minister of Climate and Environment in Sweden’s new government. She will be the youngest minister in the history of Sweden’s cabinet. Romina will be one of the five Liberal Party members in the 23-member right-wing government cabinet of Ulf Kristersson. Parisa Liljestrand, 39, has also been appointed as the Minister of Culture from the Moderate Party.
