Two Months Until the Last Day

Two months until the final day

The U.S. elections will not be held on November 5th; instead, they will conclude on that day. There are two months left until the final day of the contest, and in some states, people can start voting in a few days by receiving ballots that have been mailed to them, registering their candidate of choice, and sending in their vote. On September 10th, the first and possibly last debate between the two main presidential candidates will be hosted by ABC. If circumstances allow for both parties to agree on another debate, there might be another one. Campaign revenues from public donations have been strong, with Harris showcasing her power in August, as public donations exceeded $300 million. Trump is not lagging in this area either, and now key electoral states will witness the presence of candidates and their representatives, with the media space filled with ads from Harris and Trump. Apparently, Trump no longer hopes to turn states like New Hampshire, Minnesota, and Virginia red, and his main target is to conquer the ‘blue wall’ of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. Capturing these three states would complicate things for Harris. Harris aims to defend all six major states that Biden won in 2020 and turn North Carolina blue again after three failed attempts by the Democrats. This effort requires significant spending and numerous rallies, but beyond that, it’s the campaign activists and volunteers who make the real impact on the ground with door-to-door campaigning. In 2020, Republicans demonstrated their strength in this area, and while Democrats were wary of the COVID-19 pandemic, Republicans capitalized on many people’s disdain for COVID restrictions and pursued a door-to-door approach, showing disregard for the pandemic and achieving significant results. With large rallies planned before the debate, the current state of polls is of great importance. A key point in this week’s polls is the intense closeness of the two rivals in a state like Pennsylvania, where winning is crucial. This is why Biden and Harris held an important rally in Pennsylvania, and Biden and Vance have special plans for this state. Hot days are ahead, and soon, on the eve of the Harris-Trump debate, we should expect some hot news.
