Two sessions about Iran are on today’s agenda of the Munich Security Conference
As part of today’s program at the Munich Security Conference, two sessions titled ‘Iran’s Next Chapter: Ending the Vicious Cycle or Repeating It’ will be held, both moderated by Christiane Amanpour, the CNN journalist and anchor.
In the first panel, Prince Reza Pahlavi will speak as the founder of the Council for Free Elections in Iran, and Nazanin Boniadi from the Abdorrahman Boroumand Foundation will represent Amnesty International.
In the second session, Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, Lindsey Graham, U.S. Republican Senator, Manal Radwan, advisor to the Saudi Foreign Minister on Iranian affairs, and Karim Sadjadpour from the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace will participate.
Additionally, before these two programs, Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, will attend a session titled ‘Addressing the Increasing Risks of Nuclear Proliferation.’
