Two killed in rockfall incidents on Kandovan Road

Mohammad Ahmadi, the head of the Kandovan road police, has stated that at least two people have lost their lives due to rockfalls on this busy route in recent days.

Mr. Ahmadi told Iranian media that since the start of the Nowruz plan, more than 80 incidents of rockfall have been reported on the Kandovan route.

According to him, during this year’s Nowruz holidays, three people have also been injured due to these rockfalls.

This police official further stated that the continuation of this problem has made this vital and busy route of the country unsafe.
