UK Accuses Two Individuals of Spying for China

Britain accused two individuals of spying for China

A British Parliament researcher and another man have been accused of spying for China. British police announced that two men, aged 32 and 29, have been charged with providing documents and information to a foreign country.

British police described the charges against these two individuals as very serious and stated that they are under investigation based on very complex inquiries.

Christopher Cash, aged 29, and Christopher Berry, aged 32, were arrested last March in connection with investigations into this case.

According to published reports, Christopher Cash, who previously worked as a researcher in the British Parliament, had connections with several Conservative Party members. The Sunday Times reported that he had contact with Tom Tugendhat, the UK’s Deputy Security Minister, and Alicia Kearns, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Commons.
