The British Defense Minister had warned Iran that time is running out
Grant Shapps, the British Defense Minister, said in an interview with Sky News on Monday that London will wait to see what happens in the Red Sea and then decide on possible future actions regarding the Houthis
He also did not rule out the possibility of further military operations against the Yemeni Houthis and added that London has participated in U.S. attacks against this group in response to what he called the Houthis’ defiance and is prepared for more airstrikes
On Thursday night, the British military joined U.S. forces and carried out attacks against Houthi positions in retaliation for targeting international trade in the Red Sea. Mr. Shapps, in response to a question about whether London intends to escalate its actions against the Houthis, said no, but also added that Britain will closely monitor the situation
