Ukraine sends cyber war information to the U.S.
According to a report released at a cybersecurity conference in San Francisco, U.S., Ukrainian officials are sharing some of the cyber information obtained during the war with U.S. security agencies.
It has been said that this information includes the geographical location of enemy forces, their mobile phone interceptions, and other findings that are transferred to U.S. intelligence agencies, including the FBI, the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Some of this information is collected for use in investigations regarding the commission of war crimes by the Russians.
Alex Kuisantz, an FBI agent who has been active in Ukraine, stated that the reason for sharing this information is that his organization specializes in analyzing and evaluating such data.
He said that this cooperation reflects the deepening of cyber working relationships between the United States and Ukraine, which have been collaborating since 2015 to counter Russian cyber attacks.
