Ukraine Sinks Russian Ship in the Black Sea

Ukraine has sunk a Russian ship in the Black Sea.

The Ukrainian army announced today, Thursday, that it has sunk a Russian amphibious ship, which was used to support amphibious operations, with attacks from naval drones in the Black Sea.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces explained that the amphibious ship Tuzar Konikov, near the city of Alupka on the southern outskirts of the Crimean Peninsula, which has been occupied by Russia since 2014, has sunk. This ship had the capacity to carry 87 crew members.

This is the second time in the past two weeks that Ukrainian forces have reported sinking a Russian ship in the Black Sea. Last week, Ukrainian forces also released a video containing footage of a drone attack on the Russian missile cruiser named Ivanovets.
