Ulyanov: America Wants to Compensate for Its Strategic Mistake by Continuing the War Against Iran

Ulyanov: The U.S. wants to make up for its strategic mistake by continuing the war against Iran

Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, criticized Washington’s policy towards Iran, saying the U.S.’s logic regarding the Strait of Hormuz is incomprehensible.

Ulyanov said the U.S. on one hand demands freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, but on the other hand, this freedom has been lost as a result of the U.S. military attack on Iran.

He added that Washington is now trying to address the consequences of its strategic mistake by continuing the war and emphasized that something is not right.
