UN Security Conditions Prevent Food Delivery to Northern Gaza

The United Nations states that security conditions do not permit the delivery of food to northern Gaza.

The World Food Programme, affiliated with the United Nations and abbreviated as WFP, has temporarily suspended the delivery of food to the northern Gaza Strip.

In a statement, this organization mentioned that the suspension will continue until the conditions in the war-torn region of Gaza allow for the safe distribution of food.

The statement further explains that suspending food distribution in northern Gaza was not an easy decision, as the situation will worsen and more people will die from hunger. The decision to suspend was not a simple one.

Apparently, the insecurity in the region was so severe that this organization could not continue even its minimal activities in food distribution.
