The United Nations: We will continue to use the name Persian Gulf

The spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, on Wednesday, in response to a reporter’s question about the organization’s stance on the Associated Press report stating that Donald Trump, the U.S. President, intends to refer to the Persian Gulf as the Arabian Gulf during his visit to Saudi Arabia, said that the United Nations will continue to refer to this region in the usual manner as it has done so far, that is, as the Persian Gulf.
