The British newspaper The Sun, which first reported the news, says that this package containing uranium arrived in the UK less than two weeks ago on an Omani passenger plane.
According to The Sun’s report, the original source of this package was Pakistan, and its destination was a business location associated with Iranian nationals in the UK.
No individuals have been arrested in connection with this shipment.
Police say the arrival of this package poses no threat to citizens in the UK.
