The United States Central Command announced that it has carried out over 11,000 attacks against Iran.
In its latest report, the United States Central Command stated that during the war with Iran, thousands of targets have been attacked.
The report mentions that by the end of March 28, the U.S. military conducted over 11,000 sorties to attack targets in Iran, and also destroyed or damaged more than 150 Iranian vessels.
A review of the details of this report compared to the previous CENTCOM assessment shows that the type of equipment used has also changed. In the new list, the use of amphibious assault ships and vessels has been added—equipment typically used for transporting and supporting ground forces, including Marines, in offensive operations.
This development is reported as there had been previous news about the possibility of ground operations. The Washington Post reported that the Pentagon is preparing for several weeks of ground operations in Iran, although it is still unclear if this plan will receive final approval.
