US Defense Secretary: Men in women’s clothing have no place in the US military

Pete Hegseth, the United States Secretary of Defense, announced in a video on the social media platform X that the Department of Defense is decisively implementing President Donald Trump’s policies regarding military readiness and strict criteria for service in the army.

Referring to Trump’s executive order issued just one week after the start of his presidency, he said that the order emphasized that military superiority and readiness should be prioritized and that expressing a gender identity that does not align with an individual’s actual gender cannot meet the necessary criteria for military service. We agree with this policy and have implemented it.

Hegseth also stated that this policy was challenged in court by some opponents, but two days ago, the United States Supreme Court upheld it.

He added that from now on, military personnel diagnosed with or having a history of gender identity disorder can voluntarily leave the service, and if necessary, this departure can also occur involuntarily.
