The US Secretary of Defense addresses the issue of leaked classified documents

Lloyd Austin, the US Secretary of Defense, on Tuesday, April 11, in his first reaction to the issue of leaked classified and confidential documents on the internet, said this is a very serious matter and its various aspects are being investigated.

Dozens of US government documents marked as top secret were published on social media since early March.

The mentioned documents, which include more than 50 pieces of intelligence marked as confidential and top secret, cover various topics from the vulnerability of Ukraine’s military system to issues related to US allies like South Korea, Israel, and Turkey.

Lloyd Austin said in a press conference, ‘We take this matter very seriously and will continue to investigate and research until we find its source and dimensions.’
