The U.S. Energy Secretary visited Aramco facilities in Saudi Arabia

Chris Wright, the United States Energy Secretary, during his official visit to Saudi Arabia, along with Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, the country’s Energy Minister, visited the headquarters of Aramco in the city of Dhahran

Upon arrival, the American delegation was welcomed by Amin Nasser, President and CEO of Aramco, and a number of the company’s senior managers

During this visit, the U.S. Energy Secretary became acquainted with Aramco’s innovative efforts and visited various centers such as the Advanced Exploration Center, the Fourth Industrial Revolution Center, and the Accelerated Innovation Lab

He was also briefed on presentations about Aramco’s role in enhancing global energy supply security and efficiency

Following this visit, the delegations from both countries conducted a field visit to the Shaybah oil field in the Rub’ al Khali region

During this visit, explanations about the production and administrative facilities of this oil field were provided, and the visit concluded with a tour of the Shaybah protected area visitor center as part of Aramco’s environmental programs
