The US government responds to NBC’s report that the Fordow and Natanz nuclear facilities in Isfahan have been completely destroyed.
Sean Parnell, the senior Pentagon spokesperson, said on Thursday in response to an NBC News report regarding the Islamic Republic’s nuclear facilities that Donald Trump was clear, and the American people also know that Iran’s nuclear facilities in Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz have been completely and utterly destroyed, and there is no doubt about this.
At the same time, the White House also reacted to a report about the destruction of only one of the Islamic Republic’s nuclear facilities in a US attack, stating that, as President Trump has said and experts have confirmed, this operation has completely destroyed Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
Previously, NBC News reported that according to a new US assessment, only one of the three Islamic Republic’s nuclear enrichment sites that was targeted last month has been seriously destroyed and its activities have been significantly disrupted.
According to NBC News, the other two sites have suffered more limited damage, and it is possible that the Islamic Republic could resume enrichment activities in them in the coming months if it wishes.
