Donald Trump, the U.S. President, announced that regime change in Iran is the best thing that could happen.
He made these remarks shortly after meeting with the staff at Fort Bragg base in North Carolina.
Mr. Trump had previously confirmed that a second aircraft carrier group would be sent to the Middle East.
According to a report by the Associated Press, the U.S. President said about efforts to overthrow the Iranian government: ‘For 47 years, they have been talking, talking, and talking again. We have lost many lives, so let’s see what happens.’
He recently stated that his main priority is for Iran to further reduce its nuclear program, but on Friday he emphasized that this is only one of America’s demands from Iran.
