Vance, the Vice President of Trump, says the war in Ukraine will not end anytime soon

J.D. Vance, the Vice President of the United States, stated that the war between Russia and Ukraine will not end in the near future

In an interview with Fox News, he described the conflict as a brutal war and said it is up to Russia and Ukraine to reach an agreement and end this brutal war

Vance mentioned that both sides are aware of each other’s conditions and red lines, saying both countries are aware of the other side’s demands but have not yet reached an agreement

He emphasized that the U.S. government is currently facing the challenge of how to create the groundwork for reaching a middle ground agreement to end this three-year war

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that starting from May 8, coinciding with the anniversary of the victory in World War II, he is ready to implement a temporary three-day ceasefire

However, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister has called for a 30-day ceasefire
