The annual speech of Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, began simultaneously with the unannounced visit of Joe Biden, the President of the United States, to Ukraine. At the start of his speech, he stated that step by step, Russia is achieving all of its goals in Ukraine that were set in 2014.

Mr. Putin again blamed the West for starting the conflict and the deaths of many people and spoke about the West’s intention to escalate this conflict to a global level.
