Wall Street Journal: Elon Musk might become Trump’s political advisor
Reuters wrote that the Wall Street Journal, citing informed sources, reported that if Donald Trump regains the White House in the November elections, he will choose billionaire Elon Musk as a political advisor.
According to the Journal’s report, the two have discussed ways in which Musk, who runs the social media platform X as well as SpaceX and Tesla, could have the right to express opinions and official influence on economic and border security policies.
The Journal also claimed that Musk has informed Trump that he has launched a political persuasion operation aimed at powerful U.S. business leaders to prevent them from supporting Joe Biden, the Democratic president and Trump’s rival. These discussions, which included billionaire investor Nelson Peltz, also involved talks about funding a data-driven project to prevent voter fraud.
