Warm welcome for Lavrov from his North Korean counterpart with a bouquet of flowers

According to the Associated Press, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov welcomed North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui in Moscow on Monday, October 27th, with a bouquet of flowers.

This meeting was held as part of strengthening strategic alliances between the two countries and enhancing relations that have entered a new phase in recent months, especially after the signing of a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between Russia and North Korea in June 2024.

In remarks following the meeting, Choe Son Hui emphasized that the meeting between Kim Jong Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin has elevated the relations between the two countries to a new height.

Lavrov also stated that the relations between Russia and North Korea have gained a very strong impetus in the past three and a half months following the high-level agreements.
