Warning about new sanctions: thousands of Tether addresses will be blocked
On Sunday, Tasnim News Agency reported the potential blocking of Iranian users’ Tether assets due to intensified sanctions and strict international oversight of the cryptocurrency market.
According to Tasnim’s report, thousands of addresses on the Tether network have already been blocked, making the associated assets practically inaccessible.
Tether is one of the world’s largest cryptocurrencies and is traded in the global cryptocurrency market under the symbol USDT.
The price of each Tether is approximately equal to one US dollar.
The digital currency Tether is sometimes referred to as a stablecoin due to its stable price.
