Warning for Iran: Europe declares Russia a state sponsor of terrorism
On Wednesday, the European Parliament, with an overwhelming vote from its members, passed a resolution declaring Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism. This official declaration was made relying on the general support of Europeans and despite opposition from some of Putin’s allies in the European Union, particularly Hungary.
The European Parliament has condemned Russia for its aggression against another country, the crimes committed in Ukraine, the sacrifice of countless civilians, and the destruction of vital Ukrainian infrastructure. The European Union and Parliament follow a specific and special process for such a declaration, and it should be noted that Iran is at serious risk of facing a similar fate and its serious consequences due to its involvement in the aggression against Ukraine.
