Warning of torrential rains in 31 provinces

The Meteorological Organization, referring to the entry of a rain system into the country today, has issued a yellow level warning for flooding, river overflow, and damage to agricultural products for 31 provinces.

Based on the analysis of synoptic and future maps by the Meteorological Organization, today with the entry of the rain system from the west and northwest of the country, rains have started in the provinces located in the western strip, with heavier rains expected in the provinces of Ilam, Kermanshah, and Kurdistan.

On Monday, the activity range of the rain system will be in the southwest, west, northwest, and gradually the southern slopes of Alborz located in the provinces of Qazvin, Alborz, Tehran, and eastern Semnan, where there is a possibility of showers, thunderstorms, temporary strong winds, and in susceptible areas hail, and in highlands and cold regions, snowfall is expected.
