Water Supply to Federations at Azadi Sports Complex Cut Off

Water supply to the federations at Azadi Sports Complex was cut off

The numerous federations located on the eastern side of Azadi Sports Complex have faced a water cut. It was previously stated that the water cut issue had been resolved, but the federations are still without water.

The technical deputy of Azadi Stadium told ISNA that the water cut started on April 2nd. We fixed the broken pump issue on April 4th, but unfortunately, it broke down again, causing problems for the federations.

Federations that have set up their training camps are facing more issues, including the Archery Federation, which is now receiving water through tankers and filling water tanks.

The pumps and water transfer system of Azadi Sports Complex, like other infrastructures of this stadium that have aged over half a century, are worn out. Promises of renovation and reconstruction, which began in the 2000s, are still ongoing.
