What is the response of the government council member to the 60,000 Toman dollar?
Azimi, a member of the Agriculture Commission, criticized the government’s failure to control the dollar’s price, saying that the people and representatives expect the country’s economic, political, and supervisory officials to stabilize the dollar’s price so that the prices of other essential goods are not affected by its increase. In fact, they should prevent political and regional issues from impacting the currency rate and consequently the economy and people’s livelihoods.
Although the government had promised during the election campaign to control inflation, build housing, boost production, and import cars, and despite the parliament passing laws in these areas and giving the government a free hand, none of these promises have been effectively fulfilled.
