White House Reaction to Serial Poisonings in Iran

The spokesperson for the White House National Security Council on Thursday, March 2, expressed concern over the ongoing widespread and serial poisonings in girls’ schools across various cities in Iran, calling for credible and independent investigations into the matter and holding those responsible accountable.

Adrienne Watson stated in a tweet that the reports regarding the poisoning of female students in Iran and its potential connection to the students’ participation in recent protests are deeply concerning.

She added that credible and independent investigations must be conducted and the perpetrators held accountable. All girls have the right to an education without fear for their lives.

Officials of the Islamic Republic claim that no clues have yet been found regarding the perpetrators and causes of these dangerous attacks.
