The White House: We have had no contact with Iran since the attack

John Kirby, the spokesperson for the National Security Council of the White House, says there has been no communication or exchange between the U.S. and Iran before the start of these attacks.

Mr. Kirby told reporters on Friday night that this is just the first stage of our response.

In a teleconference with reporters, he clarified that the U.S. has had no contact with Iran since the attack on Tower 22 base.

John Kirby claimed that the targets attacked by the U.S. today were chosen in a way to avoid harming civilians, and these targets were selected based on undeniable evidence proving their involvement in attacks against American forces in the region.

The rejection of any prior notice of today’s U.S. attacks on Iran by the spokesperson for the National Security Council of the White House comes in contrast to a similar attack in 2020, when Iran informed Washington of its decision a few hours before attacking a U.S. military base in Iraq.
